Squall Fan Although I do hate Squall, I honestly don't care if you like him, because it's just a video game character. But this one girl threw a fit because I wouldn't convert into Squallism. Here's the first e-mail that she sent me: "U SUCK! Squall is the hottest and best FF Character ever created! Do you like Tidus? Hmm I bet you would like a complete idiot who doesn't think before speaking! Squall is not rude, he appears to be cold-hearted but he really cares for the protection of his friends. WHY WOULD HE GO RESCUE RINOA IN SPACE IF HE DIDN'T LOVE HER?!?!?!? You are stupid and ignorant for thinking anything bad about Squall! You obvisously did not understand the character thoroughly to think he's anything less than a perfect character. If you were raised in an orphanage without parents and then your best friend leaves you all alone, would you be a happy person?? Squall defends himself from being hurt again by putting walls around himself to where he seems introverted. Then you are sent to a military academy at the age of 5 where you are taught to show no emotions when fighting because it is considered a weakness. But no, you wouldn't understand that! Yeah he may be different from Cloud and Zidane but who would want all the main characters to be exactly the same in each FF? Wouldn't that get boring? So let me get this straight you think Squall is cute but his personality sucks right? His personality is the most beautiful part about him. You are very shallow if you judge him on the surface he creates for other people to see. He is in fact afraid to be judged by others, so he creates a fake outer personality so no one would get to know him. I understand how he feels, because I do the exact same thing. Have you ever actually read what Squall was thinking in the game? He said a lot of things that showed his sensitivity, and sadness about his past. It may seem like I am obsessive over Squall but that because he is perfect! So next time try to keep an open mind about the main character! I wrote you this letter for all the other Squall fans out there like me who you probably pissed off with your stupid comments. Well that is about all I have to say to the likes of you. SQUALL-HATER! U SUCK! Oh, by the way, don't rag on Seifer for his dreams. At least he has dreams! He is hot too.....but Squall will always have a place in my heart and no other FF character will live up to him! Well, actually, I wouldn't really blame you because it isn't like there are any guys (or girls, if that's your preferance) out there who are actually worth dating nowdays. At least a video game character is easy to turn on, and they're easy to control. No, I didn't like Titus because he was just annoying. That's just because she's retarded. Well, I can't really compare my life to a video game character's life because story writers actually write the character's life. My life isn't written for me. My life is real. I think...? Unless the Matrix has gotten me... Actually, Squall was a ripoff of Cloud (see the hair reseblance?), and Zidane was the most different FF character of them all (Titus was just an annoying ripoff of him). I am very shallow to judge him on the surface..? Again, this is a video game character that she is talking about. She is calling me shallow for judging a video game character. At this point of the e-mail, I thought that this girl should go out somewhere and actually interact with human life. And then she said, "It may seem like I'm obsessive over Squall but that's because he's perfect!" That's just...scary.... Actually, I am friends with some Squall fans, but they realize that he's only a video game character, so they don't care about my say in the matter (well..most of my "friends" are like that anyway). But I do get e-mails from Squall fans, and they usually don't give a crap about me not being a fan. What the hell does she want me to say? I'm really sorry for thinking anything bad about the sencitive, beautiful, and perfect Squall and ragging on Seifer's dreams? I am a shallow, closed-minded jerk for thinking anything bad about these two video game characters and I deserve to die..? Well, I e-mailed her back basically saying that I'm putting her on this page (I just had to...I couldn't believe that anyone could be so ate up about someone disliking a video game character), and that Squall was only a video game character and it was just my opinion of him. She responded back to me: "Oh yeah put this on your stupid site FUCK YOU! How's that? Yeah god you are so shallow to hate a ff character so much to make a website about it! Don't you have anything better to do? Well you obviously have no life. I wasn't trying to change your opinion you dumb bitch it's just that your ideas are fucking gay and no one else thinks Squall is all that bad of a character. So bye webslut!" "FUCK YOU!" Oooooh...words... Well, she obviously doesn't have a life either if she even bothers e-mailing me about me disliking a video game character. My website is more than about me hating Squall, but I wouldn't be shallow; I would be bored. And that's what I was. She was trying to change my opinion? What the hell was she trying to do? Brainwash me like some members of cults do? I wonder if she believes that the spaceship is coming to pick Squall followers up and take them to their almighty leader. Hmm...I didn't know opinions had sexual preferences, but homosexuality doesn't bother me. I still love my opinions and I stick by them no matter what. Well, after that e-mail, I've never heard from her again. Thank god...I thought that she was going to bother me until I joined the Squall Cult. |
